Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration
Do you enjoy working with your hands, repairing things and solving problems? At STVT, our ACHR training program can help you turn those interests into a career. Through HVAC technician training, you'll learn hands-on from industry-experienced instructors who have worked in this exciting field. They can teach you the skills you need to become a professional HVAC Technician.Our program includes a focus on installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of systems, including heating and air conditioning systems, coolers, chillers, ice makers, and more. You'll also learn the theory of cooling and heating that supports all of these systems' operations.
Automotive Service Technician
If you are passionate about working with your hands and repairing mechanical equipment, our Automotive Service Technician program could be the right vocational training program for you. At STVT, you will have the opportunity to learn hands-on from our industry-experienced instructors in a simulated shop environment.
With our auto mechanic training, you will gain the skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and service that you need to work in the automotive service industry. Once you complete the program, you can be ready to begin your new career!
Combination Welding
A career in welding can help open doors to work in a variety of different industries and geographic areas throughout the country. At STVT, our Combination Welding program is designed to prepare you for today's welding jobs. As a student in one of our welding schools, you will have the chance to learn shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and flux core arc welding, all of which are needed by many of the growing companies and industries in America today.
Through STVT's Combination Welding training program, you will also have the chance to learn hands-on from instructors who are experienced in the welding field. They will introduce you to industry-standard welding equipment so you can gain confidence in your skills upon graduation and be ready for your new career opportunity.
Computer Accounting Specialist
Our Computer Accounting Specialist program is designed to teach you the accounting and computer skills employers are looking for. Upon completion of this program, you are prepared to perform general office duties, moderate computer and accounting work, handle payroll responsibilities, and more.
Through STVT's computer accounting specialist training, you will learn from computer accounting instructors with real-world experience and have a chance to practice your skills in class. As a graduate of this program, you can be ready to sit for the Registry Exam for CPA Assistant and Bookkeeper.
Dental Assisting
If you are looking for a better future, consider the dental assistant training program that we offer. What sets us apart? As one of the leading dental assistant schools in south Texas, our program teaches students about every phase of the dental assistant position. Medical Administrative Assisting Technology

Medical Assisting

As a Medical Assistant, you can become an important part of a health care team. Your responsibilities could include patient records management, medical laboratory procedures, CPR, scheduling patient appointments and measuring vital signs. Professional Massage Therapy
Are you ready to help people for a living? Through our massage therapy program, you can gain the skills you need to help people improve their health and mental well-being through the art of massage therapy.
As one of the leading massage schools in Texas, you'll learn from experienced industry professionals with a focus on hands-on training that allows you to gain real experience practicing Swedish massage, hydrotherapy and clinical techniques.
The Professional Massage Therapy Program for Brownsville & McAllen are approved and regulated by Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) – DSHS license #MS1045. Programs vary by location.
